The long-shaft Boehler motor is common in many locomotives, that use 3 Axle motor blocks, also referred to as a C-style gearbox, referencing that the gearbox has an idler gear.
Often found in locomotives such as the 2055 series American Diesel. Example: The White Pass or SD-40, the Mogul, and the Ge 2/4
This motor is also usable with LGB 20020, The Fortuna Flyer, However the worm gears will need to be removed from the motor shafts. (if you do not feel comfortable with this, we can change the motor for you)
