While we already keep a stock of thousands of common parts, we need to source some of our parts on demand from our European sources. This can cause a delay of 4-5 weeks between your order and us being able to deliver. We could ship in urgent situations quicker, but this means we have to fly these parts in from Europe and we typically don't believe that the cost is justified.

When you contact us, please tell us the rolling stock number and the explosion diagram number, ie. Engine 2010D Part#2 and not "that golden thing on top of the engine on the roof the engine". We want to serve many people and if we have a go on a wild goose chase then we will have to charge an extra fee of $5/part that is not clearly identified.
Also we have experienced that some engaged us to find them many parts and then we do the work and then they either don't respond or decline to take some of the parts. Therefore all search orders are charged automatically with $25, and we wave the fee for all orders exceeding $25 or for Goldmembers.

We have between our US warehouse and our supply chain access to more than 10,000 parts (not all of which are listed here), as well as are able to produce parts. If parts are coming from our supply chain then the wait time can be 6 weeks. We are collecting many orders in that case in order to minimize the shipping impact as part of the cost. Should you have an emergency we can UPS/FEDEX/DHL the part directly to you, but the cost are high. However, you are being charged at this point in time, because too often people forgot or changed their mind on special orders and we cannot be stuck with them, unless everybody is wants to pay higher prices.
